Light and shadow, textures and patterns inspire me. Improvisation allows me to breathe new life into my “found” objects by incorporating them into my painting stories allowing a piece of rust to become an angel’s wing or a roof for a house. I aim to emphasize the abstract elements of a realistic subject.
